Turning to the One Who Had No One
Many who are autistic, or who grew up in the Irish diaspora, have parts that have used strategies of masking or pleasing to try to cope with the more difficult aspects of our realities. They started when we were young, and arrive into adulthood exhausted.
This essay describes the IFS - informed process of helping those parts, and the wisdom that emerges once they're given the care they never got.
